Adams Football Players Beautify Detroit
Thirty Rochester Adams varsity football players and coaches participated in a community-wide summer service project with Life Remodeled. They were among 10,700 volunteers who worked in Detroit during a one-week period to remove blight and beautify Denby High School and the neighborhood surrounding it. Adams Highlanders provided manual labor, clean-up, and assistance–alongside other charitable groups from the Rochester area, including the mayor of Rochester Hills and other city officials. Adams coach and teacher, Mark MacFarland, led the Highlanders in making a difference.
