Coed Varsity Skiing · Boys Ski Wins Regional Title – Bound for State Finals


Members of the girls team to also join the boys team at State Finals

Following a first place finish at the Pine Knob Divisional Meet, the boys ski team won the MHSAA Regional championship at Mt. Holly.  Adams topped the field with 51 points, beating out Holly/Oxford (82) and Grand Blanc (108). The Highlanders Matt Corsi won the giant slalom race in a time of 42.56, beating out runner-up Jacob McIntosh of Clarkston. Corsi finished third in slalom. Teammates Josh Cowdrey and

Colie Fleming were fifth and ninth in slalom, while Fleming, Cowdrey and Eli King were top-10 in GS.

Members of the team that advances to the State Finals at Nubs Nob on Feb. 27th include:  Matt Corsi, Josh Cowdrey (SC), Colie Fleming (SC), Ethan Walsh, Colin Dehart, Jon Stanton, and Eli King.

The girls team will also have representation at the State Finals as a result of the individual qualifying efforts of Kaylee Richardson and Olivia Guzzardo (SC).
