Highlander Heroics: Softball’s GPA Grand Slam

Girls Softball did not see the field last spring but that did not stop the team from hitting a home run in the classroom as they earned Academic All-State as a team. Not only did they earn the honor as a team but they hit a Grand Slam with the highest GPA in all divisions.

Girls Varsity Swim and Dive had a great showing at the OAA Red Championships held in early November. The team finished 2nd overall at the meet and brought home 3 golds, 5 silvers, and 2 bronze medals. Girls Volleyball had 2 team members earn All-League honors this past season, Lara Sebastian and Jacoby Flynn. The team also had 3 team members earn Honorable Mention in the OAA Red Division, Kennedy Jones, Rea Marfatia, and Alexis Wolas. Great job Highlanders!

Girls Cross Country had a great season including a trip to the state finals. The team saw three runners earn All-League honors in the OAA red division: Amanda Soldan (So.) Tanvi Joshi (Sr.) Liv Urbano (Sr.) Great job Highlanders!

  The Boys Cross Country team had a great fall season including being the co-champions in the OAA Red division. The team had 4 runners earn All-League honors: Mathav Vignesh, Zach Mazzuchi, Kaleb Price, and Gage Killewald. The team also qualified and competed at the MHSAA State meet held at Brooklyn MIS.
